Mike Mathis - Elite Coaching Founder
Mike Mathis holds a MS Exercise Science and is one of the areas premier sports performance and enhancement trainers. Mike played HS Soccer at Lee's Summit HS and earned All Area honors. He played collegiately at Missouri Southern State University where he was a four year varsity starter and earned all conference and all academic honors. Mike is currently the General Manager of the KC Sports Lodge Indoor Sports Complex and a Co Owner of Boost Sports Performance. Mike has coached competitive soccer teams for the past 15 years. Mike is also the Director of the KC Select Youth Development Academy League for u5-u8 players. Mike has coached and trained thousands of youth players as well as college and professional players. Mike is married to Carol Mathis and they have three children Addie (7), Brooks (6) and Sam (4).
Elite Coaching offers seasonal academies, camps and private lessons. We offer a variety of soccer opportunities to provide young soccer players with essential skills to allow them to have success on the field. We are passionate about developing players to meet their maximal potential as soccer players. We want every child to enjoy the game of soccer to the greatest of their abilities and our fun and challenging environment is a great way to achieve this.
Elite Coaching services are designed for soccer athletes of all levels. We specialize in tailor made programs that periodize programming to progressively develop a player to maximize their abilities.
Our programs range from working with recreational players to provide them the tools to maximize their enjoyment of the game all the way to professional players looking to remain in peak condition to prepare them for their upcoming seasons.
All levels of players will receive quality appropriate coaching in an atmosphere that promotes success and development.
